Today was the last day of Year 10 and school for this year for us. Over the past week or so, some people in the group had given out Christmas cards�how nice of them. And now we�re like close enough to put personal messages in them =)
Anyway so first up was the graduation assembly. I followed Karen and Sandra (stupidly) to class, but we were meant to be in the MPH to prepare for the assembly. Oops. Anyway, assembly was boring as usual, just a little longer, since it was for us. Lidster gave this speech which obviously was mostly for show. Year 7s gave crappy little thing but what do you expect.
Then we had the whole, go through everyone and give them their certificate/school reports/school certificate results. Results for me:
SC: All band 6s except for english (band 5) which was 88. Best was computer skills (97) LOL
SR: All subjects either on average or above! Even English (average)! Omg first!!! XD And I never would�ve thought. I�m so proud =) Not as good as half yearlies, but still, no under averages! XD
Anyway, then afterwards, as the group planned, we hopped onto a bus and walked to Pepper Lunch on George Street! XD We looked so weird, a big group walking into a restaurant in our school uniforms, we had to go into the big extra space in the usually-blocked-area.
Nice lunch ^^ Sandra got Renee the wrong thing though, which meant she stole Ticky�s one, and Ticky had to get the leftover kimchi one. LOL. The waiter was so confused giving stuff out.
Afterwards, we walked to the Korean supermarket store across the road to get 32cm icecream! XD I was going to buy one, but then I though, nah� I wouldn�t be able to finish. Even for an icecream lover like me. What? It was soft serve�
Then we sort of went into SES to hang around for a bit while everyone finished their icecreams. Ticky got full so I ate the rest of hers, to Silvia�s mild disgust. LOL. Then most of us split off to head home, and I followed Shelley and Ticky to QVB because Shelley wanted to buy a ring.
So we went into Diva and Equip, where she finally bought this cross over one and yeah. Like a white-silver band, you know those pretty simple ones? What I want, is a guy ring XD Like you know those dark metallic bands with black print (optional)? Yeah. Guy ring. To put on my pinkie or thumb, like a guy. Lol.
After that we went into Kino (I think) and then walked down to sit on a bench and just talk. If only Pim was here, then we�d be complete =) (She�s in China btw). Then we headed back home and I managed to catch the train just before the early train, which isn�t very early but whatever. Millennium =)
Got off and saw Amanda J and I was like OMFG lucky!! ^^V Haven�t seen her in ages (new train timetables >>�), and we actually had stuff to talk about so it wasn�t as awkward as it usually is, and it�s her last day as well. We even hugged at the end, because it was the last time we�d see each other until� who knows next year. x)
Yeah what a nice day to end Year 10 =)
