Air

Amanda came back from hong kong.

I finished watching Air (12 + 1). I was crying for one hour straight. Even though the story's weird and I don't get it.

See its about this guy who is looking for a girl in the sky with wings. He goes to this town and meets this girl who wants to fly and dreams weird dreams. The girl lets him stay at her house while he stays in town. She lives with her mother, who is really her aunt, and who doesn't seem to care about her.

The guy meets these other girls that also want to fly. One girl is slightly mental from touching this feather. The guy fixes her up. This other girl's mother is mental and treats her like she's her younger sister who's dead. She gets fixed up too.

That girl has a friend who tells the guy that she's a memory and that she's the girls dead younger sister. She says goodbyes and disappears.

So then the first girl who has weird dreams starts telling the guy about her dreams which are really sad. Then she starts getting hurt becuase of the dreams.

Then theres this flashback to when they girl in the sky goes up in the sky. She's one of these winged people who are locked up by humans for war uses. She's really lonely till she meets these two people. They help her escape from somewhere and find her mother who dies.
The girl in the sky said she can't fly even though she has wings. Then she ends up flying in the sky leaving them but is cursed.
The other two people become monks or something and get this special power that makes them dream whatever the girl in the sky dreams but this makes them die very quickly.
So they pass the story on to their children to try to stop the girl in the sky's curse so she can come back down.

So the first girl is having these dreams. Shes gone sick and says her wings hurt even though i didn't get to see them. The guy sorta dies and turns into a crow. The girl loses her memory. Her mum/aunt says lets be a real family. The girl dies.

I didn't get it. It had to have some kind of point of it all. But no it was just like a passage of time and happenings that will probably repeat itself over and over again.

Dreaming and dying. Pffft.

Oh well it was a nice show.
