It's dark and dim even though it's only 3 in the afternoon in the summer time. There's this storm going on outside--I can hear the occasional rumble of thunder but no lightning so it might just be some very heavy rain. The rain is intense. It's so dense and quick that from the distance it becomes a blur and when it bounces off rooftops, it becomes fog-like. It's pelting down so hard the ground floods a little and the sound as it breaks on the concrete is on par with the thunder itself. And when I'm talking about 'it,' I don't mean a collective group of raindrops, but a huge body of water which just pours out of the sky, inconsistently.
Meanwhile, I listen to this on repeat.
