Rush hour

Formal on Monday night. I spent most of the morning making cards. Here's how:

T:

  1. Print the photos on a polaroid template and mark with a line where to crop the final photo.
  2. Then to thicken the photo into a 'polaroid' or 'card,' steal/take 20 or so free postcards from the library of the school you have graduated from, and glue them on the back securely, before cutting the polaroid shape.
  3. To cover the back of the postcard, and if you are too cheap to buy paper that won't become transparent, dig through the old stash of shit in your house. After discovering your parents have kept the calender of 2006, use the nice landscape photos of the best months to glue on the back of the polaroid.
  4. Realise you're missing a photo, and then fuck it and decide to obtain it later.
  5. Get them photos signed briefly.
  6. And there you have it, and very cheaply made, but not if you just see it, card :)

J:

  1. Get written messages on cards from everyone.
  2. Clip it together with a clip.
  3. Find an old broken necklace someone gave you, rip off a charm and clip it on for a little decoration
  4. Make a golden ticket by wrapping two postcards in gold foil ($1) and gluing them together, and get it later decorated by creative others because you're lazy.
  5. Make a card for the people whose cards you've lost

Boxes:

  1. Find some paper that resembles tissue paper texture in the cupboard of crap.
  2. Rip into smaller pieces and stuff the boxes you bought ($6) with them because they are so much more bigger than the actual cards
  3. After stuffing about half the box, place the cards onto the 'tissue paper.'
  4. Write a message to both explaining (without detail) why it is so shit.

Then I had about an hour and a bit to shower, put on the dress,(had to get my dad to later help me zip it up), put on light makeup, put socks at the bottom of my shoes, get ready, etc.

Caught dad's taxi to Tanya's place and watched her sister do everything for Tanya's prepping. The hilarity. They are so cute. Later got to the station and caught public transport with Pim.

I think the time I spent before, and up until, and taking photos, was the best and most enjoyable part.

Spent the night at Tiffany's yet again, I feel like I am so comfortable there now after crashing several times over the past, has it been, two years wow. I think we ended up talking until 5am about shit that I wouldn't classify as deep, but I guess nothing is really 'deep' these days, but just talk that you can only talk about late at night, or when you're with someone and not doing anything else.

Slept five, six hours before heading to school, Jaya, Japanese restaurant, park, talking, for celebration of Tiffany's 18th.
