woah... shortest time bewteen entries in AGES....
so we went to this christmas party for something... wait...A Christmas Party for Special Children yeah.It was held in the exhibition centre.
so i planned to meet Jaya at the bus stop. then go to Town hall with Pim and the twins and also an added Kendy. as we stepped out of Town Hall Station, we were like, WOAH. TALL BUILDINGS. we were mainly following Jaya and Kendy. Pim said at some time that this was the place where her wallet was stolen. THANK GOD she didnt break down. Hate to say it this way but, shes pretty strong ^^
so then Jaya's like... "this way!" and then she's like, "did anyone bring a map? like the one attached to the note?" i was the only one who did. =.=" (oh yeah and i was using the bag a sewed up in textiles last year) then she's like, thanks.
we make it to Cockle Bay Wharf or something, and i'm looking at the map and i'm like, *points to left* "this way is the right way! its faster!" but Jaya's like, *points straight-right* "i'm sure this is the right way!" and me being outwardly weak and evil, they dont trust me and go for Jaya's way.
So we go Jaya's way and through this long shopping centre and pim and kendy are leading now because jaya's gone, "un-ohh..". we go out and they're like "which way now?" lucky for them (though i'm kinda really bias here..) i recognise this place (on the map too) and i go thata way. they FINALLY say i'm a good navigator and that stuff. =="
we mark our names (we see ticky) and we get our red tshirts with name tags!! xD i got... EXTRA LARGE! WTF?? they though eve was a big girl? and jaya was a medium (smallest size) girl along with renee? and madeline got XL while karen got M. Ticky got L for Loser and L...
We get assigned jobs but we know everyone's gonna swap and move. i chose play dough first but then got bored of it and it was dough as in FLOUR dough with DYE in it. eww...
so me and Ticky decided to ditch. couldn't hand out fairy floss (though we scabbed some) because the twins were with us and it was only meant for two people.
the twins ended up fnding a job face-painting which they really wanted to do. i dont know how... i mean like... FACE PAINTING? seriously? i'd kill someones face instead.
me and ticky were like, jobless for 20 minutes, then we found one at the clown corner spot. well ticky anyway. she was asked to face paint. AHAHAHAHA. because she was surrounded by pro face painters. i saw louise and tiantian hold the string for limbo. ...how interesting..? i ended up helping ticky (replaced by amelia who wanted to try face painting) help gauri with the painting.
its was so weird. the finished pictures went on the ground to dry so they could pick it up later. the cleaning water was thick brown. the paint was mixed shit. the sponges didn't have ONE colour on it. =.=" me and ticky decided to refil a couple of water cups (though they dirties real quick) and get some tissues both from the bathroom ^^
gauri then went to lunch, leaving us. oh yeah did i mention at some time i had to replace this PRO face painter? the first person was like... SPIDERMAN please. so lucky i seen tonnes of people do it. *fans self* he was a nice boy too, saying it was good. i didn't really want to burden him with the fact that he was my very very first face painting job.
then two faces later, i realized it there were so many kids who wanted their faces painted. when i was little, i HATED paint on my face. even now, IT DISTURBS ME. i was like, just improvising and stuff, and the girl next to me (my age [shorter maybe]) was REALLY pro and i kept asking her stuff. =="
then just when i got sick of it, this girl comes up and says, "unicorn please." WTF. does she even know what it is?? does she really want a horse face?? so i painted her face white. then "started" to draw a flower, and then luckily the pro painter came back *finally* after a long tiolet break. THANK GOD.
went back to painting. you can never mind that place alone i say. NEVER. too many people asking for paper, paint, drying, pikcing up their drawings and random people asking questions. and i've tried it so, trust me..
